That’s right. The System Controller 4 project has just accepted its first code contribution from the community. The pull request was merged just recently and marks a major step in the progress from version 3 to version 4 of the controller. A major goal of version 4 is that it be as adoptable by the community as possible and as easy as possible for developers to contribute.
Recently, at a BioHack Austin Meet-Up at Austin’s Brave New Books, a backer of our first KickStarter for Robot Gardener 3 came to see our progress. He was happy to see our progress and wanted to know what he could do to help. It turns out that he is a great python programmer and has just pushed some development tools to our github repo that will help the code be more adaptable for developer to contributes. His name is Rémy and his github handle is @rgreinho. Thanks Rémy for your input, and we welcome any more constructive input.
